“Friends of the internet, gather ’round. What you are about to witness is the marriage of a classic summer s’more (graham cracker, chocolate, and marshmallow) with the form of a classic Minnesota dessert bar (thick, sweet, transportable to potlucks and such… we love our dessert bars in the Midwest) with a little bit of peanut butter thrown in for good measure. I don’t know, maybe it’s wrong? Putting peanut butter with a s’more? In which case I don’t even want to be right.”
S’mores are the quintessential summer dessert, but what if you want those awesome treats and you don’t have a campfire around? You make these amazing s’mores bars. They start with a yummy graham cracker cookie base and have the chocolate and marshmallows you’d expect. And the addition of peanut butter? SO yummy. But of course you can leave the PB out if it’s not your jam.
