No-Bake Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip
“I’d been thinking about making sliced caramel apples versus whole caramel apples as a fun treat for apple-season but then remembered that I kind of hate caramel apples (except when booze is involved, of course!) The idea of caramel apples is fun, but sticky fingers, faces, and teeth, well…aren’t! This dip gives you all the flavor of caramel apples, plus the luxuriousness of cheesecake, without the need for a wet wipe or dental exam. I can’t WAIT for you to try it.”
Three ingredients separate you from the utter luscious deliciousness that is this caramel-y cheesecake dip. Three easy-to-come-by ingredients that are sure to send your taste buds to heaven when they are combined.
This dip is really easy to make, especially since ingredients can be substituted without issue. Kristin from Iowa Girl Eats, who shared this recipe, is known for her usually healthy and celiac disease-friendly recipes, so you’ll find some ingredients in this recipe you might not normally have on hand. For example, the So Delicious CoCoWhip topping can easily be substituted with Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream. And if you don’t feel like making your own caramel sauce, just pick up some of the pre-made stuff at the store. Lately the caramel sauce from Trader Joe’s is my go-to. Then all you do is serve this up with some graham crackers and apple slices and enjoy!
