Easy Raspberry Swirl Pound Cake
“Do you like pound cake? It’s always been sort of blah to me. There has to be lots of flavor and pizazz UNLESS you have a seriously quality recipe. But that raspberry swirl! And am I allowed to say this is better than Starbucks’ version? Because it totally is!”
I’m pretty sure Sally from Sally’s Baking Addiction is my spirit animal. I’m right there with her when she talks about pound cake– a pound cake’s gotta be reaaalllllly special to get me to love it! And thank goodness this one is. It’s incredibly moist and flavorful and that raspberry swirl adds just the right touch of fruity sweetness to it. And definitely go with the icing on top, it totally elevates the cake to the next level. (And again Sally is right, use her lemon glaze recipe with this raspberry pound cake.)
