Orange Creamsicle Cake
My husband seriously loves orange creamsicles, so when I saw the recipe for this cake I knew I had to make it for him, and I’m so glad I did!
This cake is incredibly moist (the orange soda used in the batter helps with that) and delightfully orange-y. Not only does it get its orange flavor from the aforementioned orange soda, but it also gets additional help from orange zest and a bit of orange juice. And if you want to take it even further, try adding in a bit of orange extract.
This recipe makes a lot of cake, so it’s perfect for sharing. I sent it to work with my husband and he and his coworkers gobbled it right up.
