When spring cleaning comes around I take advantage of the time to go through my spice rack and check for anything expired. And sure enough, I usually find at least one or two canisters of spices or herbs that are past their prime.  I’ve always hated throwing away their old containers because I was sure I could find something cute to do with them, and now I have. Check out this cute little magnetic succulent planter made out of an old pepper tin!

This project is super inexpensive to create since you’ll just be using an old pepper shaker.  You’ll also need a couple of succulent clippings, some paint, perhaps some washi tape, some magnets, and a little foam. It’s also fast to put together– the longest part of the project is just waiting for the paint to dry.
