How to Start Seedlings Indoors
Spring is just around the corner and it’s time to start thinking about and preparing for this year’s garden. Starting your own seedlings is always a good idea for the home gardener. It saves you money, it ensures that you don’t have to settle for lower-quality seedlings sold at the over-picked nursery, and it allows you to garden with heirloom seeds that you can use year after year.
I’ve always relied on those cheap plastic containers with cardboard seed-starting pods from my local big-box store to start seeds in my garage, but I am now reformed. Following the advice of this article, I’ll be starting my seeds indoors from now on.
