How to Crochet the Yo-Yo Pattern
“Once you get started in the world of crochet, just doing single crochets, double crochets, and chains may seem to lack the challenge, flair and individuality that you crave. According to Red Heart, a trendy stitch in the crochet realm is the yo-yo stitch. Although it looks intricate, it really only requires knowledge of the chain, double crochet, and slip stitch.”
These adorable yo-yos will be fun for any sort of crochet project! I plan to make a lightweight blanket a bit like the one pictured above for when the warmer months come but I still want to cuddle on the couch under a blanket. But you can do so many more things with them! You can make a curtains, a cute shawl, or perhaps even a cute skirt for a little girl (just don’t forget the fabric behind them.) The possibilities seem endless!
