Have you heard of a temperature blanket? If not, they are a blanket that is crocheted one day at a time reflecting the high temperature of that day. (Or you could be like some people I know and keep a written log of the daily highs and crochet several days at a time.) I think these blankets are so unique and beautiful!

Even though this is a crochet pattern I think a knitter could knit up a temperature blanket too. Basically you want to make sure your stitch isn’t too tall because you’ll be making 365 rows; single crochet is recommended for this pattern. Also, you can totally customize your yarn colors for this project. Simply assign a particular color to a temperature range and use it when appropriate. That way you can have as many or few colors as you wish. One thing’s for sure, this temperature blanket sure is fun!
