How to Build a Plant Hanger
It all started with a rabbit problem. Last year bunnies took up residence in our front and side yards and absolutely ruined. Since we live on a corner lot that backs up to a greenbelt, we have ample access points for bunnies, so I’ve decided to plant loads of marigolds around the perimeter of the yard to keep them at bay ( our town doesn’t allow us to have fences out front). I wanted an attractive way to display the flowers that didn’t have a big footprint, like a large planter would, that would kill our yard. Then I came across this DIY tutorial.
I love this charming idea! It’s an easy one-hour build and will look cute whether you display it on your porch or in the yard. I’m making several for my place. I’ll have one on my porch that I’ll dress up a bit with crown moulding and the pictured chalkboard and then several without the moulding and chalkboard around the perimeter of my yard as rabbit deterrents.
