Homemade Cough Drops
Cold and flu season has officially been here for awhile, but I never tire of finding new ways to combat those danged illnesses! This Homemade Cough Drop tutorial is my latest find to share with you.
These DIY cough drops are full of stuff that is good for you. Lemon juice is full of immune-boosting vitamin C, honey has natural antibacterial properties and works quite well for soothing a sore throat and quieting a cough, ginger eases nausea, decreases pain, and also helps boost the immune system, and cloves are a fantastic source of antioxidants, have antiseptic properties, and decrease phlegm. I also like to add some ground cinnamon for even more immune-boosting power and good flavor.
