Fall Planter Tips
“My plants in my summer planters are getting tired. I’ve been looking at pictures of my planters from years gone by. Some were good, some not so good. But, this one was probably my favorite. It was the easiest and the most inexpensive too! Resharing my post about my fall planter from last year.”
Just like Susan from momcrieff.com, my summer planters are looking worn and lackluster, so I’ve been looking for ways to refresh them and prepare them for the upcoming autumnal weather. I love her idea of re-using fountain grass from summer planters and tucking in more seasonally-appropriate plants for a facelift. I didn’t use purple fountain grass like Susan, but I did use some dracaena spikes that are still looking good, so I think I’ll pop in some mums and perhaps some celosia around them. How will you update your planters?
