DIY Sleeping Bag
“It’s not always easy to find cute sleeping bags for the occasional glamping trip or a weekend sleepover. Lucky for you, it’s easier than it looks to make your own for yourself or someone in your family! I made two sleeping bags for my two older kids as they may soon be spending a little more time at Grandma and Big Papi’s house, but I may also made myself one to match because I’m pretty jealous that they get to sleep in these.”
I remember taking my red Coleman sleeping bag to sleepovers as a kid and HATING trying to roll that thing up when it was time to go! It was so slippery that it never stayed rolled the way it should have. Life would’ve been so much easier if I had one of these DIY sleeping bags. (Not to mention that my sleeping bag would’ve been so much cuter!)
These sleeping bags are relatively simple to sew. Depending on the size you want you’ll need anywhere from three to four yards each of inner fabric, outer fabric, and batting. And of course a zipper. Check out the link below and have fun making your own sleeping bag!
