Eating vegetation can be good for your cat’s digestive system and may even provide some extra nutrition, but it’s very important to be careful what kind of plants they’re eating. Since so many plants are toxic to our beloved kitties, providing them with one of these indoor cat gardens is a smart way to provide them the right kinds of plants to munch on.
Of course we all know that cats enjoy eating cat grass and catnip, but have you thought about some other plants you can feed them? The author of this tutorial added rosemary, parsley, and mint to her cat garden. After some research, I’ve found you can also safely provide kitties thyme, valerian, johnny jump-ups, and lemongrass.
