Cozy up your outdoor living space with these easy and pretty candle planters. You can use just a regular pillar candle or even a citronella candle to help keep the bugs away.

This project is quite simple and can be assembled in under an hour.  All you really need is a terra cot for the planter, another pot or saucer to stand the candle on, your candle and hurricane sleeve for it if desired, and your plants.  I like the idea of planting some lemon balm or peppermint for a bit of greenery and extra ammunition against the bugs. You can even switch out your plants for some pretty autumnal mums come fall and continue to enjoy your cozy candlelight outside.
