DIY Candle Melts
“I’ve been wanting to re-create and/or make my own candle melts for a while now. I love my candle warmer! What I don’t love is having to spend an arm and a leg to replenish my candle melt supply. Once I received my essential oils, I knew making my own could become a reality! This tutorial is so simple!”
I am a former Yankee Candle Company addict, and their “tarts” (wax melts) were some of my favorite products to buy from them. However, things changed when I became a mom. I preferred to spend money on my little one and family rather than at YCC and I also worried more about which chemicals I had in my home. So, my tart warmer went into storage. Now I’m thrilled to have it back out to melt these easy DIY Candle Melts. The ingredients are safe to use, affordable, and depending on the types of oils you use, may even provide therapeutic benefits. Some of my favorite oil combinations for these melts include lemon and lavender, peppermint and orange, and lemon, orange, and grapefruit. I hope you enjoy these melts just as much as I do!
