Bobby Flay’s Parker House Rolls
Parker House Rolls are an American favorite, with their sweet and buttery flavor, crisp exterior, and pillowy-soft interior. And this recipe for them by celebrity chef Bobby Flay is divine. This recipe is easy enough to whip up for a simple meal but delicious enough to serve for something special.
The recipe starts out easily enough, just simmering some milk in a saucepan and then combining it with sugar, salt, butter, eggs, yeast, and flour. Then you just knead for a little bit, let rise, punch down, and let rise again. Easy enough. At the end of baking the rolls get an extra hit of melted butter. (I’ve found salted butter is my favorite for this step.)
