Biscuits and Gravy Casserole
Last year I first made this casserole for the first time on Mother’s Day and it was so tasty and easy that I made it again and again. Of course it’s perfect for breakfast just like traditional biscuits and gravy, but it also works for lunch or a quick, hearty dinner. You can even make it a night ahead to make mealtime go extra easily.
This casserole combines your usual biscuits, sausage, and pepper gravy with eggs and cheese to make a dish your entire family will go bonkers for. I made it with mild sausage to appease my picky eater in the family, but I think spic Italian sausage would be fantastic. And if want to skip the premade biscuit dough and gravy mix, by all means make your own. I bet it would be even yummier.
